Layer By Layer Bakery ("we", "us") respects your privacy and handles your personal data in line with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

What we collect

The name, WhatsApp number, email, delivery address and order notes you provide when ordering, together with your order details and payment status.

How we use it

• To process and deliver your order
• To contact you about your order via WhatsApp or email (e.g. bake dates, tracking numbers)
• To handle refunds and after-sales support
• To keep transaction records for accounting and legal purposes

Payment details

Payments are processed securely by CHIP (chip-in.asia). We never receive or store your bank, card or e-wallet details.

Who we share it with

We only share what's needed to fulfil your order with:

• CHIP, to process your payment
• Our courier (J&T Express), to deliver your parcel

We never sell or rent your personal data or use it for third-party marketing.

Where it's stored

Order data is stored on Google Firebase cloud services and is only accessible to our shop system and the shop owner.

Browser storage

Our website saves your cart, language preference and (if you check out) your contact details in your browser to make your next order faster. This stays on your device and you can remove it at any time by clearing your browser data.
